Crossing the border of former East Germany on our way to Liberec we run into the collecting of rough garbage in an village near Berlin. This is exactly what I had in mind. What a coincidence that on the road to Liberec we happen to meet this.

Once in three months people are allowed to put out the rough garbage on this special day. We see a clear connection betwee the houses and the left over goods on the sidewalk.

We talk to the former owners. At first they dislike the fact that we are photographing their garbage. When we explain our interest, it is no problem at all.

I realize that in Soesterkwartier people will dislike the idea at first as well. But at second thoughts I am sure they will see the point of it. If you can re-use eachothers leftovers isn't that a sign of real friendship ? Friendship in relation to the globe we are all sharing and living from.

The art commission of the city of Amersfoort did like my proposition but....
the budget is supposed to be spend on a solid piece of art for the neigbourhood. I am sure I can make that in the end. But the main part of the budget has to go to the process.

We decide that this plan needs a longer breath. I will certainly continue shaping the plan and if I do not succeed in Amersfoort other twincities are also candidates to my plan.
